How to create and manage roles in Asaan Retail
To access Role Management in Asaan Retail:
Step 1: Log in to the Asaan Retail portal.
Step 2: Hover your cursor to the flyout menu on the left and click the settings icon.
Or you can access settings by typing ‘Settings’ in the search bar at the top.
Step 3: In the new window, click on the “Company” tab.
Step 4: In the middle panel Role Management, click on the ‘Create New Role’ Button.
Step 5: In the pop-up window, enter details like:
Name - (Name of the user)
Description - (Brief description about the role like Manager, Accountant, etc.)
Step 6: Enable the “Is Admin” feature to give complete access (admin access) to the user you are going to create.
To create customized access to regulate and employ access control to the new user, mark the check box against each module or sub-module. For instance, if you want to create a user as Procurement Manager who can only entertain Purchase, Products, Inventory, locations, and Chart of Accounts. You can select the respective modules respectively. For instance:
Granting access to Purchase & Products - (1)
Granting access to Chart of Accounts (sub-module), Inventory, and Locations - (2)
Step 7: Scroll down, and click the ‘Add’ button.
Your new role will be created that you can use to create a new user to define its authority & access.
If you want to edit or change the role, click on the edit button at the right.
