Hi, today we'll discuss the issue related to the "Courier's Bulk Booking". Sometimes you may face trouble when booking the orders with couriers. You may usually face an error message which says "Destination City is not available on the courier's portal" or "Mandatory field shipping city is missing for the customer".
Let's discuss both issues. What are the root causes of these issues?
1) Mandatory field shipping city is missing for the customer: This occurs because orders imported into Asaan Retail do not include the customer's shipping city, area, or state. Sometimes, if your customer leaves the fields blank without entering the details when placing an order, in order to resolve this, you should confirm the details with your customer and edit the missing details in the customer's screen.
2) No city on the courier portal matches with the customer's destination city: This error occurs when the provided information details (shipping cities) are not available on the courier's portal. Let's suppose we've an order in which the customer's shipping city is "Daromeha". Most probably, this city is not available on your courier's portal (courier is not entertaining or functioning in those particular areas) or somehow, may be, there will be a spelling mistake. For example, on Asaan Retail, the city name is Daromeha, but on the COD portal it's "Daromiha".
In order to resolve this, you have to follow the following steps:
1) Click on the courier tab from the sales order invoice.
2) Select your courier from the dropdown.
3) Select the destination city from the dropdown where you want to send the parcel or package (Consignee City). After that, click on "book consignment. Your order will be booked on your application as well as on your COD portal.
