- Step-1: Log in to the Asaan Retail portal.
- Step-2: Hover your cursor to the flyout menu on the left > click the Sales tab > Click on the Orders tab from the dropdown menu.
- Step 3: Create a new sales order or import orders from your Shopify, WooCommerce, or Daraz store.
- Step 4: For instance, you import orders from your WooCommerce store. Select the order(s) you want to cancel and click on the Bulk Actions button at the top right corner of the orders panel. Then, click on the Update Delivery Status option (Recommended for bulk updates). You can also change the delivery status directly by clicking on the Pending button under the Delivery Status column.
- Step 5: Update delivery status to Ready to Ship by clicking on the Pending button.
- Step 6: Click on the Ready to ship button and Update the delivery status to voided or use the bulk update options for the cancellation of multiple orders. Your order fulfillment status will change from Unfulfilled to Canceled.
Overview
You can cancel your sales orders for different reasons especially:
- Understocking issues (If your inventory is not synced to the third-party marketplace and a customer places an order for out-of-stock product(s))
- Customer’s requirement
- Customers not responding, etc.
- Halted operations
To cancel sales order in Asaan Retail:
Step-1: Log in to the Asaan Retail portal.
Step-2: Hover your cursor to the flyout menu on the left > click the Sales tab > Click on the Orders tab from the dropdown menu.
Or you can access Orders by typing Orders in the search bar on the top.
Step 3: Create a new sales order or import orders from your Shopify, WooCommerce, or Daraz store.
Step 4: For instance, you import orders from your WooCommerce store. Select the order(s) you want to cancel and click on the Bulk Actions button at the top right corner of the orders panel. Then, click on the Update Delivery Status option (Recommended for bulk updates). You can also change the delivery status directly by clicking on the Pending button under the Delivery Status column.
Step 5: Update delivery status to Ready to Ship by clicking on the Pending button.
Note: You cannot change delivery status to VOIDED (canceled) until you turn the delivery status to RTS. Similarly, the orders with delivery status SHIPPED cannot be changed to VOIDED. They can only be marked as DELIVERY FAILED.

Step 6: Click on the Ready to ship button and Update the delivery status to voided or use the bulk update options for the cancellation of multiple orders. Your order fulfillment status will change from Unfulfilled to Canceled.
Note: If the order was from any Marketplace (like Daraz) or eCommerce site (Shopify or Woocommerce) and in its integration settings on Asaan Retail, “Push Fulfillment Status” is set to Enabled; then the order status will also be updated on your Daraz, Shopify, or Woocommerce store.
